111,660 SP-1 APPROVED A reduction-in-force for Managerial Exempt Personnel [re: the Business Operating Solutions for Schools team], as delineated in the Official Agenda; authorized the Superintendent to implement a separation plan to all impacted employees (which includes outplacement assistance); authorized the Superintendent to provide terminal pay (for accrued sick leave) to all impacted employees; and authorized the Superintendent to make minor personnel adjustments, if necessary, and report in writing to the Board.
111,661 SP-2 APPROVED The Superintendent’s downsizing and reorganization of selected district offices; deleted the position of Chief of Accountability & Systemwide Performance, MEP pay grade 26; approved a Reduction-in-Force/Layoff for collective bargaining units and employee organizations.; authorized the Superintendent to implement a separation plan to all impacted employees (which includes outplacement assistance); authorized the Superintendent to provide terminal pay (for accrued sick leave) to all impacted employees; and authorized the Superintendent to make minor personnel adjustments, if necessary, and report in writing to the Board.
111,662 SP-3 DETERMINED The funding by the Florida Education Finance Program (FEFP) is inadequate to support district operations for the 2008-09 fiscal year; approved changes to the School Allocation Plan; authorized an increase in transportation rates charged for field trips from $32 per hour, to $48 per hour; and approved a reduction of $10 million in the proposed budget for health insurance.
