ACTION PROPOSED BY DR. MICHAEL M. KROP: That The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, receive from the Superintendent Selection Committee names of Dr. Rudolph (Rudy) Crew and Dr. Pedro E. Garcia for consideration for the position Superintendent of Schools. SP-2 THAT THE SCHOOL BOARD OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY DETERMINE THE SELECTION PROCEDURES AND TIME FRAMES FOR SCHOOL BOARD APPOINTMENT OF A SUPERINTENDENT SCHOOLS; OR APPOINT A SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS AUTHORIZE NEGOTIATIONS FOR SALARY AND CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS At its April 23, 2004 public meeting, the Board-appointed Superintendent Selection Committee forwarded the names of two candidates, Dr. Rudolph (Rudy) Crew and Dr. Pedro E.
